Oryza Oil & Fat Chemical has put into practice a workplace where anyone can thrive, regardless of sex or age.
We have provided shorter working hours for the generation who needs time to raise their children and teleworking.
We provide a workplace environment that is easy for senior citizens, people with disabilities, and employees who are suffering from an illness to work in. We have also enacted a company-wide no-smoking policy, which makes for a health-conscientious workplace.
5−1An Easy-to-Work-In Environment Where Women Can Thrive
Oryza Oil & Fat Chemical supports the success of women. We provide maternity leave and child-care leave as well as shorter working hours and telework opportunities so that women can work here for a long time.
Also, we actively rotate jobs in departments where there are a lot of women in order to create a workplace environment in which everyone supports each other. We also actively appoint women as managers and employ overseas talent.

5−2Oryza Oil & Fat Chemical’s Health Declaration
We have created a health-conscientious workplace by enacting a company-wide no-smoking policy.
We help to maintain the health of employees and their families by setting up internal non-contact temperature measuring equipment as a countermeasure against infection as well as pay for vaccines and health screenings so that employees can work here with confidence. We have also begun initiatives to provide healthy food such as fruits and vegetables to our employees by covering part of the cost.
5−3Initiatives for a Work-Life Balance
We consider the harmony between an employee’s work and life to be the most important issue, so we have taken the following initiatives to pursue the health and happiness of our employees in the following ways (this list is not exhaustive):①A way of working that suits the individual’s circumstances②The success of women employees③Continuous employment until the age of 70④Supporting employees who are disabled or are working while ill

5−4Initiatives for Safety
Oryza Oil & Fat Chemical has taken every precaution to uphold employee safety through plant disaster and fire prevention. We provide the plant premises for the local government’s fire prevention drills, and we provide our company parking lot as an emergency evacuation site for those nearby. We are recognized as an “Ichinomiya City Disaster Relief Agreement Company.”

Oryza Oil & Fat Chemical aims to improve product quality and the safety and work quality of our employees by assisting and supporting them in their endeavors to improve their skills and acquiring qualifications in a wide variety of fields.
