Oryza's Fertilizer and Feed Business

Defatted rice bran is a domestically sourced grain material that is relatively rare in Japan. It is non-GMO and serves as a safe, 100% organic raw material for fertilizer, and can also be confidently used as a feed ingredient. To contribute to the revitalization of Japan's agriculture and livestock industries, we are researching applications beyond the fertilizer and feed sectors to utilize this resource across various fields. As a supplier of feed ingredients, we manage each stage in strict compliance with GMP guidelines. In addition to supplying raw materials, we are committed to developing products tailored to our customers' needs, with a production system designed to meet diverse requirements.

For Feed Use

Defatted Bran 12 M

The defatted rice bran particles produced through the NEM* process are fine, spherical particles, which allow for highly efficient storage (as they are less prone to bridge formation within the tank). Additionally, as these particles are not subjected to excessive heat treatment, they retain a high content of water-soluble proteins and phospholipids within the bran, making them highly digestible and absorbable.
(Applications: feed, fungal culture media, etc.) (Contains less than 8.0% crude fat.)

*NEM (New Extraction Method): A low-temperature extraction method developed by Oryza, which obtained a global patent for it in 1982.

Special Defatted Bran 25M

This is Special Defatted Bran, produced by grinding and further refining Defatted Bran 12M obtained through the NEM process to achieve uniform particle size.
(Applications: various fungal culture media, diluents for pharmaceutical antibiotics for animals, etc., diluents for vitamin and other premixes, etc.)

For Fertilizer Use

Defatted Bran P5.5

Based on Oryza Oil & Fat Chemical’s manufacturing process control, which complies with ISO 22000, fertilizer Ingredients are made into products with stable quality. It is useful for improving the aptitude of the manufacturing process, such as by improving the adherence rate when pelletizing secondary Ingredients for fertilizer production.
