Solution: The features of the present invention are as follows.
1. A 5α-reductase inhibitor containing a seaberry extract as an active ingredient.
2. A 5α-reductase inhibitor containing seaberry extract and saw palmetto extract as active ingredients in a blending ratio that exhibits a synergistic effect.
3. The 5α-reductase inhibitor described in 2. above, characterized in that the weight mixing ratio of the saw palmetto extract to the seaberry extract (saw palmetto extract:seaberry extract) is 3-1:1-2.
4. A prostate hyperplasia inhibitor containing as an active ingredient the 5α-reductase inhibitor described in any one of 1. to 3. above.
5. An androgenetic alopecia inhibitor containing as an active ingredient the 5α-reductase inhibitor described in any one of 1. to 3. above.
6. An acne prevention/improvement agent containing as an active ingredient the 5α-reductase inhibitor described in any one of 1. to 3. above.
